This is my first picture post to Nikonians, and my first foray into underwater flash photography. I made the photo to illustrate a newspaper article I wrote about favorite fishing lures.

Nikon D300s, AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 (manually focused), expoosure 1/160 sec. at f/8, two Nikon SB-800 flashes controlled by PocketWizard Flex TT5s, black fabric backdrop, Manfrotto tripod & ball head.

The camera RAW image was processed in Lightroom 3; moderately cropped, exposure tweaked down 0.05, minor flare artifacts removed, modest increases in clarity and vibrance, orange channel boosted slightly to make the orange spots "pop," and luminance noise reduced.

And if all this techie stuff is TMI, let me know.
