My dad has posted one of my shots before but not this one since I am learning to PP. Shot with my Dad's D700 and 500vr with a 1.4 from the tripod. I am just starting to PP some more recent soccer matches. I haven't used the Forums much since I hate to type.
If you click the image (448kb) full exif is there.

If it were mine, I would make it an 8x10 in vertical orientation and crop more closely on the players. IMO, the open space on the left of this image does nothing to enhance it, and is distracting. You don't need it to give the image the sense of space or speed. Not sure which player is you, but you don't need to center the guy with the ball in the frame. You can even cut off the leg of the back player a little to get tight on the other two, and that wouldn't bother me at all.

Sirs, thanks you for the comments and advice. I was shooting the big lens for the first time and was having a problem framing the shots. I had always used my 70-300vr, the 80-400vr and sometimes the 300 f4.
There is no room at the top and I am happy I did cut off a head.
This is a crop as suggested and I ran it through NIK Color Efex Pro and saved using CS5. I have my second lesson in CS5/6 tomorrow.
