Our local high school team, currently ranked #2 in the state won their 14th in a row and are currently in the Elite 8 for the run to the state basketball championship. If they win the next game, they face the #1 ranked team in the final four (assuming that they win their next game as well).
MaxPreps shows the Norcross Blue Devils B-ball team ranked #3 in Georgia (now #2 per your report) with an overall record of 24-6. Not bad at all. Of 16 guys on the roster I count 7 at 6'5" or taller with one at 7'0". That height advantage definitely helps the Cause.
The lighting is far better in these shots than what I recall from previous games shot on the home court. It looks like you used flash to good effect.
I like #4 and the anticipatory look on the three faces in #6 which proves that a compelling shot can be rendered without benefit of the ball or net appearing in the frame.

Thanks Bob. I did use two flashes and I did it differently than I have in the past. I actually shot in FP mode setting the flash at 1/500 and the f-stop at around 2.8 or slightly smaller. The ISO is high but the noise is low because of the flash. This is based on what I have been reading at Dave Black's site.
I shot this in manual mode with the flash at roughly half power. I'm not sure that I like the results as well as I do shooting in TTL. I posted some pics that I shot the night before of the girls, who are in the Elite 8 as well, using TTL.
