Currently using a D700 set at 500s and using auto iso up to 3200 and get very good results. I'd like to add a second body but the budget only allows for a sub $1000 body. I've got a D300s but in the same gym it's noisy at high iso. Would the D7000 be a good choice? How does it compare to the D300s' noise? Would 6fps be a limitation? I use the MB-D10 and EN-EL4A and take advantage of the 8fps. From watching YouTube video's it seems the D7000 has a small buffer allowing for 30 frames at the highest jpg setting before write speeds slow down. I'd love to hear from D7000 sports shooters. BTW, love my D300s but need better high iso performance.
