I got up early this morning to get this shot of the Seattle skyline and morning commuters on I-5. The temperature was quite cold for Seattle (in the 20s), and you can see the steam clouds rising from several of the buildings. The shot was taken from Jose Rizal bridge, just south of downtown Seattle. It was shot using a D7000 at a 10 second exposure.
The auto lights from the lower left to the middle right leads the eyes of an observer right into the heart of your very beautiful image of your city. I have been there twice and it makes me want to go back.
A very good picture, and the exposure is spot on, to have some detail in the shadow but still keep the light/dark contrasts. If the cloud of steam was not such a feature, I would suggest a panoramic crop, but the cloud adds interest to the sky.
