Vaughn, Are these moose just out in your backyard? I have gone many places known for moose, but I have never seen one in the wild. I've even found antlers, but no moose. Not even at Moose Falls in Yellowstone, Not even at the Moose viewing area at the Grand Teton NP.

Great shots. I just moved to Colorado and cant wait to get a shot of a moose. Last time you gave me great advice to get the Elk in Estes Park. So were do you go for moose. I am going to ask my husband to take me this weekend. Fran
Thanks for looking and commenting. Yea, it seems the bulls are beginning to spar a bit early this year, they usually wait until their velvet is, at least sloughing. Moose were re-introduced in Colorado in the '70s. Since then they have proliferated throughout the state. They are fun to observe and photograph.
