Wireless control of SB800/600 can be done with S5 (not sure about S3). Faster camera, more control over DR settings. More film emulation modes - 5. Really much better WB. Can use either AA (with MB-D200) or LiOn. Pro body. Face recognition for really fast look at focus while on site.
The AP confirms the 9 stops DR is genuine and says decent A3 quality is possible at 3200 ISO. It also clarifies the D5 body is D200 based with a Fuji sensor. Obviously the D200 body easily out performs the S3 F80 based body in almost every respect.
Photography is a bit like archery. A technically better camera, lens or arrow may not hit the target as often as it could if the photographer or archer does not practice enough.
Yea no kidding. I am not buying a new camera thinking it will magically get me betetr pictures. I am a wedding photographer and I am in the market for a new camera. I have used the S3 in the past and it ha gotten me great images, but if it is worth getting the s5 because of better results then I will do it, but if it is just a better body and the images are still the same, then why waste the extra money when I can get an s3 for $700.
