As much as I love my Nikon and the Nikon system there is something clear and almost magical about medium and large format cameras.

Here are some images of my parents and myself using the Mamiya 645.

The film was Kodak Tungsten 200 slide and it was about 6 years old which accounts for the one bad exposure.

all images were shot at around f/2.8~3.5 using a Mamiya Sekkor 80mm.


Frame the world in a little box, press the shutter, and the rest becomes history.
