AF vivitar/cosina/tokina 19-35mm on a nikon FM2
Im wondering, Is it possible to use the above lenses (theyre the same i understand), on a nikon FM2? and if it is, what is the experience like? I reckon the build of the auto (especially the focus ring) is less solid than the manual versions, does this pose as a problem - I need to get the auto because of an F65 I also own, although the lens will be on the FM2 about 70% of the time.

I have a Vivitar 19-35 which I use quite a lot on my FG. It's no Nikkor, but the build quality is reasonable, and the results are acceptable (though I've never blown them up into really big prints). The focus ring has quite a short throw, and is fairly loose, but it's possible to get accurate focus without too much trouble. (Especially with the great depth of field at this short focal length).
I've been pretty happy using the Vivitar on the FG, though one day I'll probably move on to a Nikkor 17-35 (when I win Lotto )
