Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 Bridge Camera
Looking for firsthand info from any members that may have used or own this camera. It's most interesting features include a Leica 25-600mm ultrazoom lens and a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the entire zoom range. So far, from what I've read, this is one of Panasonic's best bridge camera to date.

I've had one for a couple of months, but it hasn't had a lot of use yet. First impressions are of good quality construction, though quite light in the hand. It's probably one of the more bulky bridge cameras, not a heck of a lot smaller than a low-end DSLR. Image quality seems excellent under good conditions. And that lens is really impressive.
There are a multitude of options and settings (like a high end DSLR) and because it's not a Nikon it takes a while to get to grips with it all. I don't do a lot of photography these days so I'm still learning the camera.
I think it is good enough to be the one camera to cover most situations. It's not going to be as good as a Nikon DSLR and a bag full of lenses, but the best camera is the one you have with you, and I find that I have the Lumix with me a lot more that the bigger guns these days.
