B&H started shipping this past week. I've been eyeing this camera for the past month or so. My walkaround lens is the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 on my D600, so it's hard for me to justify a 35mm fixed focal length camera...but it just looks like so much fun!
I mostly do street photography nowadays, and the Fuji X100s has the small form factor that really works on the street. I do have my D600 with me most days, but I wonder...are there really that many shots I can't get with my D600? With a prime it isn't quite as imposing as shooting with a big honking zoom. Anyone have experience with the X100(s) - have you found any shots that are easier to get with it?
Ordered mine a month ago! Still waiting for it to ship. Pretty excited. It was either the x100s or Sigma's new 35 mm. I have a D600 also and ultimately decided that I'd rather spend the money on something more portable and people friendly.
