Yesterday I went to Arthur Storey Park with my Sony NEX-5N and 300 f/4 EDIF-AF with a NEX-Nikon adapter, and tripod. Got a few good ones of pelicans and northern pintail. This setup is not good for any moving action. You must open the aperture and zoom the image on the LCD screen to focus. Then unzoom image and stop lens down, compose, and shoot.
