Good news/bad news and Canon FTb...stuff ;
Sorry about my lack of follow through - I'm looking after a heart patient...so,most of my time now is accounted for,AND - I'm on a physical theropy for my foot problem.
I have so many non Nikon cameras I have not even tested with film yet!!!, including ; Walz wide,Fuji gs645w,Retina 11a,Contax 139q,Minolta "A",Fuji compact super rangefinder,GLORIA 6X6,Pentax K2 outfit,Sears(Ricoh)M42 outfit...and...;
When out yardsaling I picked up a Canon FTb outfit;Body,Canon 28mm,50mm and 200mm,all Canon,for $30.00...then on Ebay a second FTb outfit for $80.00...because it had a Vivitar 90mm f2.8 macro sleeper in it...and my 50mm had some oil on blades...
The second 50mm also has oil on blades-but only a tiny bit,and still works correctly(first 50mm does NOT).
So-between the two outfits - I have one real good outfit.Black/accurate FTb,Canon;28,50,200,and Viv.90mm macro...also I have some Viv. tubes for afront the 200mm.
I have my eye on an (ebay) with a Canon 35mm,135mm,50mm macro... !
Very happy day to all,HEART Mike is healing ,and the weather is getting better...

Brings back some memories for me, Larry. I bought a Canon FTb in 1975 that was my only camera for 25 years. Seems like those older cameras had a longer useful life than today's DSLRs.

FOR SURE !
My black FTb is one hot camera!...And that 90mm macro !
...Continuing from above...;
Oh,and one of my camera bags...are two cameras I was testing ;
half shot rolls,
Olympus-small rangefinder camera - $3.00 thrift store special
Graflex 35 rangefinder - cute little camera.
O- and regretably - I had to sed back a Olympus half frame camera.
And - I had to send back a Soligor 85-300mm f5 ,it was for my Contax.
I really liked it...!
Add = I'm also finding Ebay/camera equipment buying to be QUITE addictive.AND somewhaat disapointing - defective equipment people are selling;like slow lazy iris ,oil on blades,hase on inner elements,fungus/hase small and large...I have had ALL these happen to me...in this change-over from MF lenses to (film)older cameras.
I can't seem to stop ebaying/mostly buying...
2 ADD = I also missed out on a Canon 17mm f4...it sold for $167.50
I was planning to bid 160-175...I might've won it !(But , don't need to spend ANY more. (.)!

Good news/bad news ;
Estate sale ; got a camera set up for $20.00
A Minolta SR T 101 with 58mm 1.4 working meter,and
a cosina 70-210 - in nice shape,a cosina 7 element 2x, and a "Focal"
Focal in my past has been bad,but this is a newer one,looks good,pristeen clean glass.
All this seems good...but what if I pick up another 1000 outfits like this or better?
I have the Pentax k,Pentax screw,Canon FTb,Contax 139q,and now Minolta SRT101
Maybe now I'll just pick up only 'yard sale' camera equipment ...*that adds to one of these 5.
In Jacksonville OR I saw a Kodak Retina 2.8 lens rangefinder (all checked out fine) for $59.00
