The trend on mobile is the quick trendy looking image you can "social"-fy to facebook, twitter.
I was rather impressed with Instagram. For quick phone shots, and adding some HDR'ish and simple filters it's kind of fun.
Although many shared pictures were clearly done with DSLR and then uploaded via the iPhone.. for whatever reason.
Camera++ has gotten a lot of good press too. And of course the loads of fat camera apps.
My opinion iPhone pictures apps for people without a DSLR and photoshop.
