Weakened by recent health problems, I've been reluctant to tote my Nikon around much on this trip to Paris. But the X100 is always with me. This one shot at ISO 3200,1/30 (monopod), f/2.8. A bit of cleaning up the noise in LR and conversion to B&W (also in LR) and voila.
A really nice street shot, Kit! I was just reading an article in the travel section of today's paper, on Paris. It was saying that winter was a great time to visit since there are a lot fewer tourists. I hope to visit that city at this time of year in the future! Enjoy - and hope to see more of your images!

JP and Phil,
Thank you for the comments.
It is certainly less crowded than in the Spring.
With my low energy level, I've only used the Nikon one day. Yesterday I bought a Fuji X10 -- a nice companion to the X100. Here are a couple of my first shots with it -- from a flea market on Rue Ordener, right in front of our Montmartre hotel. Both shots at ISO 1000. From the JPEGs as LR does not yet have a raw converer for the X10.
I'd be very interested in hearing your experiences with this camera, maybe starting a separate thread to discuss it. I've been considering getting one, and would love to hear some first-hand experiences. What do you like about it? What don't you like? Any frustrations in using it? How does it compare to the X100, and DSLR?
