Thank God someone has figured out that you can display a fullsize example (actual pixels), and just crop to reduce the size. --scott"Less is not more. Enough is enough. Less is less."David Vestal

The manual pdf doesn't show any limitation for AF-S lenses. Page 18:http://www.hanimex.com.au/_uploads/proddb/file1_348.pdf I've read postings about these two AF-S lenses not being compatible, but I suspect it's bad information getting spread around through the net. Perhaps there's some bad info on a product sheet. In fact, here's a shot made with the 17-35 AF-S with the S2...http://slrclub.com/bbs/view.php?id=pds&page=1&sn1=&divpage=1&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=headnum&desc=asc&no=237BJ

BJ,yes, those lenses (17-35 & 28-70 ) will work, but will not work in connection with the AF-I teleconverter.Readers might have mixed up these two informations.Did you make up you mind on which camera you are going to get - D100 or S2?Have a nice day Andreas

I'm still looking and want to see Phil Askey's reviews for both cameras and see if more serious bugs surface over the next few weeks before I choose.I can't imagine why anyone would want to use those two zooms with a TC anyway. I would imagine the S2 would have the same lens compatibility list as the N80 (and, I assume, the D100). I'd also like to see how the S2 works without dx model Speedlights. I'd have to figure in the cost of replacing my current units with dx models with the D100, or live without TTL auto. Both cameras deliver high quality images, so I want to see what each is like to live with.BJ
