Paul: I am indeed lucky… talented, well that’s a different matter!
Darrell: Thanks, and yes my daughter has attitude at 2yrs 4months…
Chuck: Sierra is a very pretty girl… hard to imagine that she is my daughter (lol). She is constantly asking for me to “Take a Picture”, and she now knows to come look at the LCD to see the picture after each shot… The backdrop is a piece of black velvet from Wal-Mart… I hooked up the SB-28 with a SC-17 Cord to the S2. I placed the SB-28 on the floor to my left; the Studio Flash was to my right… The SB-28 was low enough not to cause any catch light in Sierra’s eyes, but gave enough light to fill in some shadows… Have you ordered your S2 yet?
Brian: Thanks… The blocks were my wife’s idea. As for the owner of the S2, it belongs to my wife, that is what she tells me, but when it comes to actually taking the photo, she lets me touch it. Are you liking your new S2?
Thanks for the detailed portrait info. I would like to see your daughter sitting up, playing with the blocks. Of the 3, I liked the other 2 best. Her expressions are really cute. Especially in the rocking chair. She's not exactly shy.
I did order the S2. I ordered one from Canoga in California. I should see it on Thursday. I also ordered 2 photogenic 1250DR's for my "studio." I posted a thread on the Nikon-based Digital Camera forum "Repurchased S2." I ordered an SU-4 for the SB28 so I can use it as a background light.
