This is the most critical time in the procurement cycle: I have money in hand and need to commit.

Issues

  • Heavest equipment to use tripod: N80/B16 with 70-300 4-5.6 "D"
  • Liked the Bogen 3405 Junior, but it had limitations - and now I have bigger ($150) budget
  • I don't like to bend over too much - and I would with 3405
  • Am uncomfortable having to always extend column to full height
  • My old tripod had a 3-way pan-tilt head - didn't like being poked by the pan control
  • The Bogen 3026 has separate panning function
  • Weight not serious issue - I'm past my backpacking years %^(
  • In archives, 3026 mentioned only once - in a question, not an answer
    Questions
  • Does anyone use the 3026? Any problems?
  • Any problem with 3021/3026 combination?
