Bogen Photo Corp. just announced they are adding two new models to the Manfrotto CARBON ONE carbon-fiber line of photo tripods. They are the new three-section 443 (3443D) and the four-section 444 (3444D). More compact, simpler and at a more affordable price than the previous 440 and 441. Added features include:
a) Quick-action leg lever locks to instantly secure leg extensions firmly in place with no slippage or rotation;
b) A built-in low angle adapter to allow for ground level shooting without sacrificing center of gravity or stability; and
c) New leg-locking hooks that keep legs neatly clipped together for easy, one-handed transport.
The Manfrotto site does not have them yet up online, but for those in the US, the Bogen site does. B&H already lists them and are about US$100 less than the corresponding 441 (3443) and 440 (3444).

Have a great time :-)
