After reading many topics on this forum and article from Thom Hogan, I have decided on following setup. My current camera is D90 and heaviest lens is Sigma 300MM F/4, I will add Nikon 80-200 F/2.8 soon and later 80-400.
Please sugegst if this setup will work for me.

The Q10 is a superb head. The 055XB will provide more stability than the articulated center post of the Pro series. I would recommend a Kirk LP-3 lens plate for your Sigma 300mm f/4. If you plan on shooting in portrait orientation you might want to consider a Kirk BL-D90 L-Bracket instead of a camera plate. Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!
