I have had my Magica for a while now and really enjoy it but would like to add a leveling base when needed or alternatively, replace the base plate with the TH-300 so I at least have a level indicator.
What is everyone using for leveling on the 3 series?

A hot shoe mounted 3-axis bubble level does it.
It may take not just one adjustment but two or three if doing panoramas, but it works.
Some Nikonians have resorted to the RRS PCL-DVTL Dovetail Adapter with the TH-DVTL-55 Round Dovetail Plate.
It should then be easier to level but a bit more expensive.
Switching the Mountaineer top hub with TB-30 for a TH-300 will give you extra benefits to the integrated bubble level: slimmer profile and further weight reduction with at least similar vibration absorption.
This is what I did with my GT3530 and am very happy.
Have a great time :-)
