I'm buying a Markins Q10 for my D7000. My longest lens is 70-200 VR although I may be adding a TC 1.7 soon.

My question is regarding the purchase a camera/lens plate. I have a vertical grip and want to purchase the camera plate for the vertical grip. I'm assuming it's not a great idea to use the camera plate to support the 70-200 so I would need the foot for the 70-200 also correct??

The foot on the 70-200 does not fit the Markins head right?
