Hello Everybody
I'm after a sturdy, heavy duty tripod with a reasonable weight to use as a platform for tethered shooting. Weight is not a huge issue, but a lighter one is preferred. I'm reluctant to spend $1000+ for a Series 5 Gitzo for this purpose.

At the moment I have two tripods, Gitzo GT 1227 MKII and Gitzo GT 3530LS. Although 3530 might be able to handle the load, what I'm looking for is a dedicated tripod for tethered shooting.

Things that will go on the tripod.
1.Manfrotto 131DDB Accessory Arm
2.Tether Tools Aero 15"
3. Mac Book Pro 15"
4. Arca Swiss Z1 or Markins M-10 Ball Head
5. Nikon D800/D700 with grips and L brackets (occasionally for a rest)
6. External Hard Drive Bay
7. External Hard Drive.

I'm looking for an old Gitzo or a Manfrotto that can hold all of the above and be very sturdy at the same time. Recommendations with model numbers will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
