I want a decent outfit for general photo work and macros. Will this setup get low enough for macro work on flowers?

I have 50 1.8; 18-200; and an older 105mm 2.8 macro.
I was wondering about getting low enough because of the center post of the tripod and with the added height of the head.

It will indeed either with the macro arm out which can cause stability issues unless you are careful or by using the ground level adaptor which should come with it - screwed into the bottom of the centre column. Remove this and use it to replace the centre column, then attach your ball head or whatever, open the legs and you have as colse to gound level shooting as you could want...
I use this for the majority of my macro shots...
