Need a recommendation - tripod for Macro
I have a ball head and focus rail. I am looking at tripods that have adjustable leg angles and the ability to reverse the column. I have seen some that can privet the center column out like a boom. I don't want to go high end but I don't want something that will not support my D90 and 105 Kiron macro lens. Any recommendations? older stuff is OK I am an ebay hound and can wait to find the right one. Thanks JBD90

I would recommend you don't consider a tripod with an articulated center column like the Manfrotto Pro series tripods as they severly compromise stability.
The Manfrotto 055 series tripods are the least expensive set of legs that I would recommend.
Do you have a budget in mind?
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!
