Hi all. After considering advice from this forum on ballheads, plates & collars. I decided to go for RRS gear. The trouble is I can add items to the shopping cart, but can't check out. I'm also unable to contact them. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it me? Regards Scotty.
I had some problems connecting to their website a couple days ago. Sometimes using a different browser may help in these kinds of situations because some companies optimize their websites for certain browsers. I use Firefox as my browser but if I'm ordering from a certain website I have to use IE in order to use their cart. Why are you unable to contact them? Did you try and fail to phone them?
I bought a camera plate online from RRS Jan. 14. I had no problems at all. On Jan 20 I was browsing the site at found it was very sluggish like their server was having problems. I'm using Firefox 9.0.1

I was on line on Fri 20Jan but with questions I placed the order via telephone without any difficulty either way.
Thanks for the replies guys. I don't have any trouble getting into the RRS website, viewing items or adding them to my shopping cart. It's when I try to 'check out' or 'sign in' that I get a 'Windows explorer cannot access the webpage' message. As for phoning them, I live in Australia & am not prepared to add a high phone bill to my purchases. My friend glxman doesn't have the problem & is contacting them on my behalf. Thanks again...Scotty.
