Just got my new 3541LS and as I was reading through the two extensive sheets of documentation that accompany the tripod, I noted Gitzo states:

"Do not use the product at temperatures less than -30 degrees C, or more than +70 degrees C (22 degrees F/158 degrees F)."

Being an information architect/technical writer by trade, the ommision of the minus sign before "22" stood out, especially because it gets a heck of a lot colder than 22 degrees F where I live. 22 degrees Fahrenheit = -5.6 degrees Celsius, while -30 degrees Celsius = -22 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hey, I wonder if Gitzo will send me a coupon for the fortuitous edit?

jan c., just being a tad anal

P.S., it's a fabulous tripod!

"Whaddya mean, don't dip the monitor in acetic acid for 30 seconds...?"
