Sachtler Tripods - any experience with Speed Lock 75 CF
Does anyone have any experience with this manufacturer. I am looking at the Speedlock 75 to replace my Gizto 1327. I shoot in swampy and muddy areas and the 1327 is a chore to use in wet conditions. The legs stick when the bushings get wet. Also I need a heavier tripod for a 600mm lens that I have ordered. I realize that Sachtler tripods are used mainly for video cameras but the model 75 looks like a good match for heavier still equipment. Hopefully someone has experience with this model and has info about stud size or if any additional parts that need to be ordered to fit a D2x to it.
Thanks in advance,

I will check out the link. Hopefully I will be in New York this weekend, and if possible I will visit B & H Photo to look over the Sachtler line. I will post. Camera Dynamics owns Sachtler, Gitzo, etc.

I hate to suggest the obvious, but have you looked at the new Gitzos with the G-Locks in the 5 series? I haven't used the older Gitzos, but I haven't had any trouble with the leg locks on my 3530LSV when they're wet.
