Whilst traveling to the holy land (B & H), I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Wimberley Sidekick to mount to my F5 and Tokina 300mm f/2.8. I also am using the Markins ball head with this set up. It is an amazing piece of equipment. Very well engineered and performs exactly as advertised. Easy to set up, you simply get it balanced, and then point it where you want to aim and it stays put, no matter what angle that might be. One finger does it. For those of you Nikonians who have this size glass, this product will be one of the best investments you can get. Anybody else have the same or different experience?
