Can somebody help me here. I am in the middle of purchasing all sorts of equipment for the studio and outside. So lighting, backgrounds and of course the Tripods. Here I have a problem, do I want to go Light and loose the stability in the studio or go heavy (3,7 kg to 4,5 kg) and have the chance of not taking the tripod when you really need it. The choices I have right now with my Nikon D100 / F100 and the maximum of 300mm (not extended) are:

1. Manfrotto 074 with the 405 head
2. Manfrotto 028 with the 405 head
3. Manfrotto 441 Carbon, carbon head
4. Gitzo one of the mountaineers.

Is there anybody who can tell me what the best deal is or tell me what would be a better combination. Better is not the right word but more feasible for fast moving. The pictures I am making are wedding, Portrets, Nature, Buildings are coming up.

Thanks!

Peter
