Has anyone used this tripod? I purchased in from B&H for $50 including head and quick release, and it seems pretty sturdy. Not up to holding an F5 with a 300 2.8 AF-S, of course, but more than enough for my N65. It also has 2 bubble levels, a free bag, and a respectable 65" max height. Overall I'm happy. The head seems like it will be a problem in the future. Also, a reversible center post would have been nice.

I've seen it. I believe it is marketed by Tiffen. It is a low cost, light weight adjustable tripod. It has been said to be ok for spotter scopes, binoculars, 35mm cameras, and compact camcorders that weigh under 7 pounds.
I remember seen also the more sturdy model Magnum XL but its price was close to a Manfrotto/Bogen.
