What would you say the would be the best tripod for 35mm work. I use an F100 and D1x. My biggest lenses are the AF-S 80-200 f2.8, AF 300 ED-IF F/4 and 80-400 VR. I would like to be able to use the tripod in the field for nature (ie, on a backpack), vacations (again carrying), family photography, macro stuff and etc. So it has to be able to be closed up compactly and very light in weight. Cost is not the issue (for the sake of this post), build quality and weight are the issue.

Any recommendations on monopods also?

What are your recommendations? I need a new tripod and monopod for the PGA championship next week, so please let me know soon.

Thanks

Tom
