Tokina 17mm AT-X Pro filter question
Ordered a Tokina ATX AF Pro 17mm lens and wanted to get a filter for it which would not cause vignetting. Lens uses a 77mm filter and has a removable hood. Was thinking of getting a "Moose" filter (combo skylight/polarizer)
Has anyone successfully used this or similar filter on this lens without getting any vignetting? (either with or without the hood)
Do the "low profile" filters (like the Hoya ultra thin) all lack the front threads?
(will be used with N90 & F100 - any compatibility issues?)
Any help would be most appreciated!

For a 17mm focal length you will need the thin or ultra-thin rim filter. Yes, to be thin they don't have the front thread.
One exception is the Moose filter which comes in a semi-thin rim that can take the lens cap. I've been thinking in getting one of those.
