OK, I don't have deep pockets and price is a high concern of mine but I'd like to make the right pick the first time. I just got an N80 and I'm very new here and to photography. Is the a quality difference in thse two lenses? Both seem to be excellant options. I was curious though, as apples to apples as they can be compared, is there a visible difference in their output or is it a choice based on my planned use alone? Reputation? Would the 35-70 be a viable "replacement" for the 50mm? How much lighting difference is there needed between the 1.4 and 2.8? Sorry, so many questions. I've been reading so many of these threads and have learned so much already. I promise, I wont be a pain with too many questions.

Thanks,

Greg
