My wife shoots many functions outdoors with our harsh, flat skies/light and also shoots some good landscape. She uses her D90 , SB800 and several lenses handheld.

She hates the skies and light but will not use the Lee Filters unless we make a dedicated Landscape shoot (rarely)with tripods.

Have read and searched and I understand that circular Grad NDs are not recommended but... has anyone used them with any reasonable results?

Most of her images go to parents/clubs, etc and do not have to be top quality. She uses NDs and then recovers in PP but she would like to be able to do better ooc for speed of getting the prints out. Specifically looking at a couple of Tiffens but they are not cheap .
Cheers,
Tom
