New member to Nikonians. I'm shooting with a D7000 and want to use the following lenses. Non DX lenses, 80-200mm 1:2.8D & a 75-300mm 1:4-5.6. Looking for a !.4 or 1.7 AF Teleconverters. Thanks for the help, LT

None from Nikon, whose TCs are either ancient manual focus ones, or which demand AFS lenses. Your only realistic choice is the Kenko 1.4x; they don't make a 1.7x.

Welcome to Nikonians.
The most recommended non-Nikon TC is the Kenko Pro 300 DG/DGX. The AF & VR functions of your Nikkor lenses will work. Nikkor TCs will only work with AF-S lenses, but the Kenko will work with non "S" AF lenses. I own the Kenko Pro 300 DG 1.4 TC and it works well.

Welcome to Nikonians!
For the AF 80-200mm f/2.8D ED the Kenko 1.4x or 2x 300 (DG or DGX) series TC's should work well.
I would not recommend using either TC on the 75-300mm since you will be at f/8 wide open with the 1.4x and at f/11 with the 2x. That will make AF spotty in anything other than bright ambient light.

I sometimes use a Kenko 1.4x on my Tamron 180mm macro lens and on my Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 AF-S. it needs stopping down to at least f/5.6 on the 80-200, and does best at f/8. It's noticeably soft wide open.
