Cokin makes an adapter to mount A filters onto a P holder. But is there any way to go the other way?

The reason I ask, is they make a nifty gizmo for mounting A filters in front of a point and shoot (I would like to use this with a P7100). This looks like it would be great for using ND grads. I already have P series filters and would prefer to avoid by duplicates in A series size.
