On a sunny midmorning day, I used a B&W Circular Polarizer with my D700 and 24-120mm combo. When I viewed the images on my calibrated monitor, I noticed a couple of images had a very slight blueish tint. The remaining images did not have this tint. Is this normal when using a polarizer?
If the objectionable bluish tint only happened on a couple of images, maybe you won't want to use a warming polarizer either - since that will have the same effect as dialing in an adjustment to your white balance - it will apply the warming to all images.
It's quite easy to make a slight adjustment in white balance in post processing if you shoot raw and there are only a couple of images that you want to nudge warmer.
