I use the Nikkor PCE 24/3.5 lens on a D800 with great pleasure - the lens is a jewel. But also with frustration, because the supplied hood is absolutely useless, being just a 'standard' round piece of metal that supports the revolving feature of the lens. But the effect is not good - and it even produces vignetting at full shift.

Does anybody know whether the Lee Universal Hood can be used on this (and other 24 mm) lenses, and support the revolving facility with ease ?? There are two attachment rings available and most likely the 'Wide' (and expensive) version should be use to avoid vignetting.

The Lee product specification is not specific about these matters, but hopefully someone in here is.
