RU getting scratches on your "thin" filters?

Just doing a general clean of my gear and have thrown out my non CP filters, I have noticed that my "thin" filters, (they are the "protector" type), most have small scratches in the outer edges,

I'm sure my old and new lens caps are rubbing on the filter when the cap goes on

Its not the end of the world for me as I shoot raw now days, its just the fact that these "high end" filters cost a bunch of dollars

I cannot see the difference with or without the filters on so usually shoot raw but in harsh conditions, always use a filter

Are there lens caps suitable for the "thin" filters?
