No questions, just an observation.

I just purchased a Nikon L37C for my 70-300D ED glass. I have always used the clear haze filters to protect my lenses but never used multi-coated ones until now. Clear glass is clear glass or so I thought. I removed the non-coated Tiffen Haze-1 filter from my 28-80D lens and did a side-by-side comparison and the difference multi-coating made was immediately apparent. What a difference in clarity. Holding the non-coated filter to my eye I could see my reflection, but nothing with the coated Nikon. This certainly calls for some 'live' testing on slide film to see what real difference it makes in the final image. I think the 28-80 will be going naked for awhile. So far I'm a believer.

Happy Shooting :)
