Do step-up rings cause vignetting on top of a UV?
I'm about to get a 52-62 step up ring, and I was wondering:
To use it, do I need to remove the UV filter on the 52mm lens, or do I just put it on right over the UV? It'll be on 24mm and 50mm lenses.

Keep the number of elements in front to minimum and use the best filters you can afford. Anytime a filter is attached some degradation occurs.
Happy Shooting :)

The stepping ring will increase the odds of vignetting with any given lens since the threading adds to the total thickness of your filter ring. It's also best not to stack filters unless you need the combined effects. Take off the UV for best results.
