I have a fairly complete set of Cokin P-series NDs and Grad NDs. I don't really like them for color work because they lend a distinct magenta cast to the whole image.

Should I be able to work around this with a custom white balance? In principle I would think so, and perhaps I should just go try it.

I know I need to just go get a set of the Lee filters, but I'm trying to save enough pennies to get a D3, and putting $470+ into NDs isn't going to accelerate that process. (Neither did the 24-70/f2.8, of course...)
