New Nikon flash cords, SC-28, -27, -26????
Does anybody have any technical info on the new Nikon flash cords? Why the new releases? SC-28 seems to be equated to SC-17, SC-27 to SC-19, SC-26 to SC-18. I understand the SC-29 has the AF feature on the camera end of the cord, but what is the deal with these other cords?
I'm assuming they have something to do with the D2H/SB-800 combo, based on their release dates.
Any info on this???

From what I've been able to tell there are a few differences between the SC-28 and SC-17. The SC-28 is shorter by 2 feet (now 3 feet), it has a different locking mechanism (similar if not the same as on the new speedlights), and mounts to the camera hotshoe with the cord coming off the left side rather than the front.
The new SC26/27 are now apparently coiled but have the same length as the SC18/19.
Happy Shooting :)
