Until now I've relied on the infrared (Advanced Wireless Lighting) feature of my SB 800s to sync them. Next week, though, I have a shoot where at least one of the units will be out of direct-line-of-sight of both the camera (D200) and the master SB-800. I'll use a SC-28 to put the master off-camera, but I've never wire-synced the slave units before (only read about how to do it).

My problem is that the SC-11 and SC-15 cords Nikon offers are only 3' long. I need at least 8 feet. What are my other options beside radio triggers -- PocketWizard's new Nikon models don't come out until Fall? I don't want to attempt a sync with cords that aren't reliable or may damage the units.

Man thanks.
