Macro-photography flash with D70?
I currently shoot with a Nikon F100 and enjoy macro-photography. I am waiting for the Nikon D70 to take the step into digital photography. For my close/macro-photography I use a Nikor 105/f2.8D lense. The Nikon SB-29S Speedlight Dedicated TTL Shoe Mount / Ringlight Flash (Guide No. 36'/11 m) will work with this lense and my F100 but does anyone know if it will work with the D70? Any comments from one experienced with Nikon digital cameras and flash for macro-photography will be appreciated. Thanks,

Well for starters the SB-29s isn't gonna do TTL with any digital. However you may get acceptable results with the flash set on manual 1/32 power. I don't know whether flash exposure compensation will work, if not your only means of controling flash exposure will be by the apature or ND filters. Probably not what you wanted to hear. Nikon is as yet to release an iTTL ring speedlight, or DTTL. My advice is to take your SB-29s and a flash card to a store and take some trial shots!
