I have read that all lenses focal length will be 1.5x more when used with Nikon DSLR.
However I am a little confused now when I used my D70 with 18-70mm DX lens. When I view the pictures using Nikon View 6.1 it showed 18mm or 70mm when I am took them at the extreme scenario. Shouldn't it be 27mm and 104mm respectively?
Or DX lenses are not affected by this 1.5x multiplier?
Or my picture was actually 27mm but listed as 18mm focal length?
D70 (Feb 04 - ??)

The 18-70mm focal lengths are the correct ones. The 1.5x crop factor is just to help people understand what the equivalent focal length would be in 35mm, but the reality is they're the shorter ones. DX lenses don't change this; their image circles are just slightly smaller.
