writing pics directly to laptop rather than CF card
I believe I've seen photographers (typically in a studio environment where you'd be relatively stationary) have their camera tethered to a laptop, writing their pics directly to a laptop for instant review (rather than a CF card). I've briefly looked at my D200's menu to see about attempting this, but didn't see anything. Anybody have experience doing this?

Every now and again you can see a post about a camera going very bad. the replys have been are you using the usb down load? they say, remember that usb is a powered connection and they said that cameras have been fried? useing the card is a pain - bigtime! if right-now viewing is vital, will the wirless work?
