Okay we taken some pictures have download the trial version of nikon capture nx. How do I download the photos from my camera into nikon capture nx? Thanks for the info

I don't mean to be flip, but with all due respect, moving/downloading images from the camera to your computer is fully explained in the D200 manual, beginning on page 107.
The infinitely better solution is to purchase and hook up a CF card reader to your computer (firewire is fastest if your computer has a firewire connection). The reader acts like a drive on your PC. Remove the CF card from the D200, insert the card into the reader, and view/download images directly to your computer. The CF card reader is a much faster solution than transferring images directly from the camera, and does not exhaust the D200's batteries.
From there, opening images in NX is just like opening file/s in any other program.

After the pictures are stored in the computer you have to remember where you stored them so you can use the NX File/Browser to go look at them. Then, you double-click them to open them in the NX editor to be able to work on them.
