There is a lot of discussion about the comparative sharpness of D100 and Canon D60 images. I can't speak to that issue, bit sveral weeks of shooting with a D100 has convinced me that it's not nearly as sharp as the Olympus E20N I also use. I'm not sure whether Nikon was over aggressive with application of the low pass filter or what, but I seem to be spending a lot of time using high pass and unsharp masking to get an optimally sharp image. Photographs taken with the E20N always have great snap and good accutance.

Of course, I have experimented with different sharpning option.

Other wise, I love the camera.
